What Color is my World? The Lost History of African-American InventorsAvailable Now!

January 24, 2012

Today is an exciting day because it’s my first day as Cultural Ambassador in Brazil, spreading the value of education, but it’s also a big day because “What Color is my World?: The Lost History of African-American Inventors”, has just released.

”What Color is my World?” is my first children’s book and it sheds light on African-American inventors and their impact that is still felt today, all over the world! I was motivated to write it by the fact that the history books I had when I was in grade school, especially if African-Americans were mentioned, it was only in relation to aspects of slavery and the civil rights movement. There’s so much more to the story. It’s my attempt to fill in some of the blanks.

It’s out now and available for purchase at Target, Walmart, BAM, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.
