The Skyhook Foundation has recently partnered with RIF (Reading Is Fundamental), the largest children’s literacy organization in the U.S. to inspire military children and families to read and achieve through a series of reading celebrations with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar at RIF sites across the U.S . During the events, Kareem shares his life experiences and insights from his new children’s book “Sasquatch in the Paint”. We are grateful to Skyhook Foundation and its lead ambassador, Kareem Abdu-Jabbar, for writing powerful stories that explore important subjects such as STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) and real-life situations such as friendship and peer-pressure, inspiring the next generation of inventors and leaders,” said Carol H.
