Qaddafi’s demise was in many ways predictable. A person who lives by the sword will die by the sword. Qaddafi was a tyrant who died resisting the will of the people that he oppressed. I wish all Libyan’s well as they pursue a brighter future. I will always remember their generosity and hospitality from my brief stay in Tripoli in 1973.
