Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is nominated a third time for Best Columnist in the 11th annual National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards! Already a two time winner, Kareem joins his comrades at The Hollywood Reporter in a total of 44 nominations.
Nominations include best publication, best website, journalist of the year for Lacey Rose and best columnist for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

In addition, Daniel Fienberg is up for best TV critic, while David Rooney will vie for best performing arts critic. In the categories for any media platform, Rose also scored a nom for her Ellen Pompeo profile opens in a new window“How I Fought to Become TV’s $20 Million Woman.”
THR scored multiple noms in the industry/arts investigative category: Gary Baum for opens in a new window“The Mystery of Angelyne Is Solved” and Kim Masters and Goldberg for opens in a new window“Amazon Studios’ Roy Price: Inside the Fall of a Top Executive.” The latter also is nominated for best general news, print, alongside Ashley Cullins’ opens in a new window“Music’s Grim New Must-Have: Terrorism Insurance Policies.”
